Turkey Treatments Hold Promise for Humans

Turkeys are highly vulnerable to certain toxins from fungi
 

The food additive BHT in shortening, cereals, and many snack foods may soon be prescribed to domesticated turkeys. And if the BHT proves as effective on humans against certain toxins, then it could show up on food labels as a cancer-fighter.
